For the second year in a row, one of our most inspirational leaders, Immediate Past Chair Lorraine Dodero, of the Sam J. Frankino Foundation has generously committed a $30,000 gift to the AHA mission to inspire our community to give to the cause.
From now until December 30, 2021, every dollar raised up to $30,000, will be matched by Lorraine, doubling the overall impact of your donation!
Often, women are the backbone of our communities, and our families. When we reach women, we tend to reach entire families and support them in making positive decisions about their health.
1 in 3 women suffer from heart disease. They are why. Our mothers, sisters, aunts, nieces, and families are why. Now more than ever, survivors need us to step up as a force to do good, to foster change, and to eradicate heart disease. We need to step up for women of all ages – from the young girls participating in our STEM Goes Red for Girls programs to the millennials and new moms to the generations facing greater health concerns.
